Millennials and Generation Z are struggling with depression, anxiety, burnout and suicide at epidemic proportions. The time is now to have the conversations, raise more awareness, and increase mental health education.
When The Music Stops is a nonprofit and community that supports emotional and mental health through music, connection, and love.
We are a collection of people from all walks of life that understand everyday challenges and struggles. With loneliness, depression, and suicide on the rise globally, When The Music Stops is working to normalize these conversations. These issues affect all races and all religions, No matter where you are in the world.
We support those that struggle with helplessness, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and feelings of being lost and alone.
You are not alone. We are here with you. We understand, we relate and we care.
In launching our podcast we are sitting down with artists, musicians, and djs who have also battled with these issues. Our goal is to create a community with a culture of honesty where vulnerability is the norm. We are looking to inspire those that are hurting with music and love. We believe the real “prevention of suicide” is in letting people know they aren’t alone and that we too understand their feelings. Like D.A.R.E. did in the 80’s and 90’s, we plan to create a simple and caring education program for Middle and High Schools that explores the mental health discussions in a creative and loving way.
Please join us as it takes a village to heal the world.
